Port wing broke on hard landing at Quang Tri, South Vietnam.

Burned out after propeller struck the ground while taxiing at Macuma, Ecuador. Everyone on board was safe.
22 May 1968 [ w/o] 56-477 56- 0477 USAF 817 TAS C-130A Details
Shot down over Laos, south of Tchepone, during Blind Bat flare mission. Aircraft was assigned to the 817th TAS and was crewed by members of the 41st TAS.
25 Jun 1968 [ w/o] 62-861 62- 1861 USAF 50 TAS C-130E Details
Left wing set on fire (most likley from AAA) over Kantum, South Vietnam and crash landed at Tay Ninh, South Vietnam. Aircraft flew entire final approach with the left wing burning. Crew didn't know if the fire would evenutally result in wing separation. The five crew onboard survived by exiting the aircraft quickly after the crash landing. Aircraft quickly enveloped in flames.

Shot down at Tan Phat, South Vietnam killing 5 on board.

Flew into a mountain while on approach to land at Akhisar AB, Turkey killing all seven crew.
22 Oct 1968 [ act] 57-492 57- 0492 USAF 17 TAS C-130D Pilot Interview Details
Wrecked on landing at on touchdown at Greenland, Dye 3 when the left gear/ski landed in a deep hole in the snow. The gear became detached and on its rearward travel damaged the left para door and the left tailplane. The wing down attitude led to the No 1 propeller striking the snow, which in turn led to serious engine damage and a fire, which was quickly put out. Flew out six weeks later after five weeks of repair. Flew with a few stops to Hayes Aircraft at Birmingham, Alabama for permanent repairs.
