First received the C-130 in 1985 under the 304th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron based at Portland IAP, Oregon. Re-designated the 304th Air Rescue Squadron in 1990, but then to the 304th Rescue Squadron in 1992. Ceased operations with the C-130 in 1997.
