Retired and partially disassembled Air Force C-130E #64-0510 is escorted by contractor World Wide Aircraft Recovery and local volunteers March 2 enroute to the Medical Readiness Training Center at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis. The 502nd Trainer Development Squadron members at JBSA-Randolph were responsible for the aircraft's four-hour move and will also accomplish the simulation project inside the aircraft that will simulate sights, sounds and smells of a medic's combat environment. News: C-130E takes a Sunday drive in San Antonio [2014-03-02]
A training airframe C-130 is moved through the streets of San Antonio from Kelly Field to Camp Bullis, Texas. Aircraft was C-130E #64-0510 (c/n 3994), a former Air National Guard Hercules that last served with the 198th Airlift Squadron based out of Puerto Rico.
