RCAF CC-130E #130311 landed long on April 25, 2006 at Alert, Nunavut. After touchdown the aircraft was unable to stop and departed the end, coming to rest in two-foot deep snow. There were no injuries. The aircraft sustained minor damage and was easily repaired. [RCAF photo]

FAT C-130H #TT-PAF crashed on June 11th, 2006. The aircraft overshot the runway, crashed and bursted into flames. The accident occurred at 18:30, about 30 minutes after the airport closed to trafic. [C-130.net collection]
