OK, then what's the PRETTIEST military aircraft (non-Viper)

Military aircraft - Post cold war aircraft, including for example B-2, Gripen, F-18E/F Super Hornet, Rafale, and Typhoon.

I've always liked the lines of the T-38:

Still king though IMO:

There was always something appealing to me about the F-104. Stealth is the future, the F-104 to me always looked like it came from the future.

Special paint schemes for the Italian F-104S Starfighters. These are pretty aircraft.

All beautiful birds, but my vote is for the Avro Vulcan. I've been in love with her since I first saw the movie "Thunderball", when I was 6 years old. Like the flying wing an accidental stealth bomber years ahead of it's time.

I love the paint schemes from the 1950's and 1960's.

May not be the prettiest, but probably the baddest.

That was a friggin warplane. It looked like it would beat you down, kick sand in your eye, take your lunch money, then take your girl. Just a big honkin brute.

It's the intakes and dorsal fuel tanks. It makes it look like a body builder with massive shoulders and a bull neck.
Einstein got it backward: one cannot prevent a war without preparing for it.

Uncertainty: Learn it, love it, live it.

The "F-19" pictured here was hardly the only one! Testor's had a model in the late 80's of the "F-19" Stealth Fighter. Was pretty bad a$$ too. Can someone post a picture?

I bought/made one... :)

The F-35 (no not that one, this one)

The looks of it has a special place in my heart. Chatted with the chief designer a few times before he passed away, he made quite a few good stories about the development and design.

That's it! I was hot on that when I heard there was a model, saved all my paper route money and built it. Jet black finish, believe it came with your choice of 2 LGB's or Maverick missiles. I opted for the Maverick's :)
