L-100's

Civilian version, equivalent to the C-130.

Civilian version of the C-130. Crews generally around 3 minimum and sometimes up to five with tow pilots, a flight engineer, a navigator and loadmaster when needed.

L-100

In an effort to expand Lockheeds market for the C-130, the L100 was offered as a civilian version of the C-130. Escentially derived from the C-130E, but missing the electrical equipment for military use they also do not have the wing pylon receiving equipment. One prototype powered by four Allison 501-D22s and first flown in 1964 and was model 382 while the production model was called model 382B

L-100-20

More powerful engines? and an extension to the fuselage length of 5 feet over the standard L-100. Received FAA certification in 1968.

L-100-30

More powerful engines? and an extension to the fuselage length of 6 feet, 8 inches over the standard L-100.

LM-100J

As the designation indicates, this aircraft is the civilian variant of the C-130J. Model code assigned was the 382J.
