Maintenance repair teams from Bagram AB, Afghanistan and the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing change the engine of C-130H 74-1675 of the 40th AS under harsh conditions in an abandoned airstrip just outside of Shindand, Afghanistan. Security forces Airmen stood watch for about 50 hours to ensure the aircraft and crew were safe from harm while on the ground in May of 2007. [Courtesy photo for the USAF]
