USAF-ANG C-130E 61-2359 with Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System from the 115th AS at Channel Islands Air National Guard Station, California, makes a Phoschek fire retardant drop on the Simi fire here October 28, 2003. Pilots flying eight Air Force C-130 Hercules cargo airplanes have dropped 129,600 gallons of retardant on the Simi fire during 48 sorties and 32 flying hours as of October 29th.
