Excellent find Roscoe! Thanks for posting. This was a great article about Col. Cesar "Rico" Rodriguez. I was fortunate to hear him tell his story in person. I think anyone who is interested in the way we fight AA combat should read this article.
It's also a great article explaining what we've come from, where we are, and what we might be destined to become if we don't start making some good decisions about the future of our fighter fleet.

I still can't get over the picture of the Sparrow

I know what it's supposed to be but to me that picture looks like the International Sapce Station suffering an explosion.
For the life of me I can't make out the profile of the Mig-29.

Eh? That's an image FROM the Mig-29's HUD looking at the incoming Sparrow.
