USAF MC-130H crashes into ridge

Aircraft was on a night training mission with night vision goggles at low level after departing Tirana-Rinas Airport in Albania. The aircraft is normally based at RAF Mildenhall as part of the 7th Special Operations Squadron. The aircraft failed to clear a ridge and impacted the side of the mountain killing all nine onboard.

The aircraft was later identified as MC-130H #87-0127.
