Errors and Omissions
Cam Ron Bay and the 348th
I think it was 1968 or 69 that we deployed to Viet Nam Cam Ron Bay.
I was a crew chief on one of the C-130s and the deployment was for 90 days. I remember loading a blockbuster bomb on my c-130 and taking pictures because I’d had never seen that load before! MPs came over and removed my film from my camera! Also remember helping to load Agent Orange barrels on my c130. We did not spray but shipped it to where they did. I also remember the beaches at Cam Ranh Bay being so white in the water being so blue it was like Miami we were up on the hill and the army was way down below and we certainly had air conditioner Barricks and they did not wasn’t that bad of a 90 day tour
