First flew the C-130 in 1971 at General Mitchell Field, Wisconsin as the 95th Tactical Airlift Squadron. Redsignated the 95th Airlift Squadron on February 1, 1992. Moved to Pope AFB, North Carolina in June of 2007. Set to disband before the end of September 2016 and the aircraft are to go to the 154th Training Squadron.
