A crew chief from the 139th AS/109th AW at New York's Stratton ANGB performs pre-flight checks on a LC-130H #83-0493 on July 27, 2004 as the crew prepares to depart from Lajes Field, Azores. The crew is returning from the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, England, where they won the prize for best-kept military aircraft.
