    Members of the 653rd Combat Logistics Support Squadron replace the elevator on the tail section of severely damaged MC-130P 69-5825 of the 8th SOS in Bamako, Mali, Africa on November 17th 2008. The aircraft was on a mission supporting CV-22s and while parked at a public airport, jet blast from a commercial airliner taxiing caused damage to the tail. Repairs were completed by November 20th and aircraft headed home the same day. Need to find the exact date of this mishap. [Courtesy photo provided to the USAF]

    USAF MC-130P #66-0220 departed the taxiway at Evenes airport in Norway on the evening of February 24th, 2010. The plane skidded into a pile of snow. One piece of one of the propellers came loose and was launched approximately 300 meters through the air. The air plane was heading for a maintenance facility when the incident happened.
