I agree and I'd like to see more of this kind of synergy between existing systems. I bet HIMARS vehicle would be good platform for many other roles and launching other missiles. JSM/NSM comes to mind for some other users. Why not mate it with Patriot launcher also? I also think that USA could use something like CAESAR howitzer the French have and which is very successfully used in Ukraine. It would be much lighter and faster than M109 while offering good long-range fires from L52 tube.
