U.S. government receives 200th C-130J, an MC-130J Commando II

A Super Hercules designated for Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., was ferried today from the Lockheed Martin plant in Georgia.
This MC-130J has the distinction of being the 200th C-130J Super Hercules delivered to the U.S. Government, which is the largest Super Hercules operator.
MC-130J Commando II is a special operations versatile multi-mission tactical airlifter. Assigned to the Air Force Special Operations Command, it delivers increased combat performance to the warfighter with its more powerful engines and MC-130J-unique features. Formerly known as the Combat Shadow II, the aircraft supports such missions as in-flight refueling, infiltration/exfiltration, and aerial delivery and resupply of special operations forces.
