Lockheed Martin delivers first Colombian C-130 from Argentina maintenance facility

February 11, 2005 (by Lockheed Martin) - Lockheed Martin has delivered the first of three Colombian Air Force C-130s receiving depot maintenance at its facility in Cordoba.
The three aircraft are part of a Standard Maintenance Program under a Foreign Military Sales contract through the Flexible Acquisition and Sustainment Tool (FAST) program.

"This on-schedule and on-budget delivery is an important milestone in our goal of becoming a center of excellence for aircraft maintenance and modification in Latin America," said Alberto Buthet, President of Lockheed Martin Aircraft Argentina, S.A. "We are extremely proud to support our growing number of international customers."

Lockheed Martin Aircraft Argentina is a certified Hercules Service Center. It began operating in 1995 providing aircraft maintenance and modification services for the Argentine government. In addition to its support for Colombia, Aircraft Argentina has provided maintenance services to other international customers including Bolivia and Chile.
