Crashed into sea after a Howitzer round exploded in the gun barrel causing fire in port engines, seven kilometers south of Malindi, Kenya. Six of the crew survived (pilot, co-pilot and 3 gunners), 8 were killed.
17 Mar 1994 [ w/o] 5-8521 IRIAF 5 ATS C-130H Details
Shot down three kilometers north of Stepanakert, Armenia. Aircraft was returning to Tehran from Moscow, Russia. All on board died including 19 women and children.
23 Mar 1994 [ act] 68-942 68- 10942 USAF 41 AS C-130E Details
Mid air collision with F-16D 88-0171 at Pope AFB, North Carolina while on final approach. The F-16D fell to earth and impacted C-141B 66-0173 which was parked on the ramp. Sadly 24 people in the C-141 were killed and 84 were injured. The C-130 landed safely and was repaired.

Damaged by ground fire when three bullets struck the aircraft during Operation Silver Back in Rwanda.
Apr 1994 [ act] CH-07 71- 1803 BAF 20 sqn C-130H Details
Damaged on the ground in Kenya when a cooling-cart came loose from its tractor at Nairobi Airport, Kenya and rolled into the side of the aircraft. Occurred during Operation Silver Back.
07 Apr 1994 [ w/o] D2-THC L100-30 Details
Fire caused by overheating brakes during take-off at Malenge, Angola caused this aircraft to be a write-off.
03 Jun 1994 [ act] 91-231 91- 1231 USAF 165 AS C-130H Details
While taxiing at London, Ontario air show arrival day, the main gear went through the ashphalt causing some minor damage to one of the main gear and doors that was easily repaired. Aircraft was one of eight participating in the 40th Anniversary Herules Meet.

Crashed in mountainous terrain near Pearblossom, California.

Crashed into water on take-off from Kai Tak Airport, Hong Kong.

Destroyed when the load of ammonution caught fire in the air 60 kilometers northeast of Brasilia, Brazil.
