Ran off runway and burned at Bien Hoa AB, South Vietnam.

Destroyed by rocket at Tan Son Nhut AB, South Vietnam. The aircraft was taxiing to pick-up evacuees when it was destroyed.

Damaged in a landing mishap at RAF Thorney Island: The co-pilot was landing the aircraft during asymmetric landing training (Engine shutdown) and the a/c got away from him before the Flying Instructor could react. The port wing and number four prop struck the runway. Parts of the blade penetrated the fuselage narrowly missing the loadmaster. Pictures show starboard wing damaged by fire. Aircraft was dismantled and transported away for repairs.

Wing was hit and damaged by a taxiing F-86 Sabre just before take-off.

Crashed when lost blade from number three propeller, hit number four engine north of Imlay City, Michigan. Also reported to be 303rd TAS. Six on board were killed.

Damaged while on the ground at Dyess AFB. Cockpit fire in 1975 with the aircraft being put in long time storage at the base untill a replacement nose could be found. It was repaired by 1977.

Destroyed when bomb exploded on runway in front of aircraft during take-off from Tucuman, Argentina. Four of the 114 on board were killed.

Crash at Dome Charlie, Antarctica. Aircraft was repaired on site and flown out on December 26, 1976.
