Crashed on landing in white-out conditions at South Pole Station, Antarctica.

Suffered damage to the number 1 engine during landing roll at CFB Edmonton, Alberta when the engine fire warning system light came on and the extinguisher activated. Later found that the turbine had disintegrated and shrapnel had damaged the flaps, propellers, fueling tank and external fuel tank on the left side. Later determined that an engine turbine spacer had failed. Aircraft was repaired.

Damaged in a forced landing at Minneapolis but was easily repaired.
02 Jun 1973 [ act] OB-R-956 L100-20 Details
Details not well known but suffered some damage taking off from Isquitas, but was repaired. Was written-off in a mishap on April 24, 1981.

Overshot the runway at RAF Colerne during landing training and simulated of an engine failure. When the second engine on that side of the aircraft failed, the aircraft was at only 400 feet and pulled to that side and went into the ground. All six onboard died.

Shortly after repair from the January 1973 mishap when aircraft was damaged in an advanced training exercise. Aircraft was practicing a LAPES drop followed by a JATO assisted climb to simulate a confined drop zone. When the JATO bottles fired, the ramp was still down and the rockets caused burn damage to the actuator jack attachment points. Cause was a judgement error on a non-standard JATO procedure that was planned by the JATO trained pilot. No injuries and the aircraft was easily repaired.

Crashed into Sugarloaf Mountain, 20 miles south of Fort Smith, killing 7 on board.
