Kingsfield Cyprus c. 1972. The crew got off, leaving No.3 engine running and the Loadie on the brakes. Brake pressure bled away and the aircraft taxied into the gliding club’s hangar.

Written off following damage from in-flight fire as a result of an electrical failure in a wing fuel tank. The fire was out by the time the aircraft crash landed in a farmers field, but the damage to the aircraft was enough that it couldn't be repaired.

Minor damage was done to the aircraft when after departing it was found a part was missing from the left front wheel brakes. Pilot was informed mid flight and could not return to base as runway wasn't long enough with the brake problem and winds were high. Aircraft landed at another base and suffered some minor damage at landing that was easily repaired.

Shot down by SA-2 Guideline SAM, southeast of Sepone, Laos. All fourteen crew were killed in action.

Shot down by 57mm AAA over the Ho Chi Minh trail, Laos. The crew of 15 were able to bail out safely and were rescued by HH-53 and Air America helicopters.

13 May 1972 [ act] 69-573 69- 6573 USAF 16 SOS AC-130E Details
Hit by SA-7 in through the tail just above the ramp on the port side and fragments punched large holes on the starboard side. Ken Felty was injured in this missile strike and the aircraft landed safely. Aircraft was in combat for the The Easter Offensive in Vietnam and was repaired. Rebuilt using the tail of C-130B 57-0467 that hit a bulldozer on takeoff.

Hit by 122mm rocket and crashed while attempting take off from Kontum, South Vietnam killing 7 on board. Another source says happened May 6.
23 May 1972 [ w/o] 62-854 62- 1854 USAF 21 TAS C-130E Details
Destroyed by rocket while on ground at Kontum, South Vietnam. Some sources say this happened May 17th.
01 Jun 1972 [ act] 63-865 63- 7865 USAF 516 TAW C-130E Details
Hit by mortar fire at Kontum AB, Vietnam. Repaired.
