Crashed while fighting forest fire at Burzet, France killing 2 of the 4 on board.

Crashed due to shifted load on take-off from Luanda, Angola. There are several reports as to why this aircraft crashed. They include that the aircraft clipped a tree during night landing and another states an engine failure.

Wings failed during a fire retardant delivery near Walker, California. The three flight crew were killed.

Crashed in mountainous terrain near Pearblossom, California.
25 Aug 2019 [ sto] N119TG 57- 0520 C-130A Details
Crashed on landing at Santa Barbara Municipal Airport following a bleed air duct failure and subsequent damage to electrical and hydraulic systems. The right MLG retracted on touchdown and the aircraft departed runway. The captain ground-looped the aircraft to avoid other aircraft on ground. No injuries to the seven crew members and company employees was reported. In November of 2019 the four engines and props had been removed and the right wing sustained possibly catastrophic damage, along with the number 4 propeller. The aircraft had 15148.2 hours at time of impact.

Landing accident at Sharana AB, Afghanistan caused considerable damage when the aircraft came down beside the runway. Propeller from engine four seperated from the aircraft and landing gear came up into the airframe. Unknown if will be repaired.

Damaged due to a fire in the wing.

Damaged during a landing mishap at Witchita, Kansas. Was quickly repaired.
29 Dec 1984 [ w/o] N24ST L100-30 Details
Destroyed on ground when it landing during UNITA (National Union for the Total Independence of Angola - Portuguese: Uniao Nacional para a Independencia Total de Angola) guerrilla attack at Cafunfo, Angola. Gunfire resulted in a fire which spread. 4 crew members were on board when it was attacked after landing Captain Gerhardt Opel, F/O William Read, F/E Allan Bungard and Loadmaster Paul Higgins F/O Read was killed and the other 3 were held captive for 3 months until the Red Cross negotiated their release.

Damaged by fire in left wheel well at Dar es Salaam, Zambia. Was repaired.
11 Apr 1968 [ w/o] 9J-RBZ L100 Details
Destroyed in ground collision when brakes failed and collided with L-100 (c/n 4137) 9J-RCY at Ndola, Zambia. Both L-100's were written-off.

Damaged at Eureka, North West Territories. During repairs was upgraded to L100-20 with a stretch fuselage.
27 Nov 1989 [ w/o] N9205T L100-20 Details
Crashed on landing at Jamba, Angola. Few details known about this mishap. The aircraft was named the Grey Ghost, not actually named on the aircraft, but nick name due to the plane slate colored paint scheme. It has been stated, not confirmed that this is proof that Tepper was flying CIA missions to support UNITA (National Union for the Total Independence of Angola - Portuguese: Uniao Nacional para a Independencia Total de Angola). At minimum, five on board were killed.
11 Apr 1968 [ w/o] 9J-RCY L100 Details
Destroyed in ground collision when hit by L-100 (c/n 4109) 9J-RBZ when it's brakes failed at Ndola, Angola. Four crew were fine. Both L100's were written-off.
16 May 1968 [ w/o] N9267R L100 Details
Burned out after propeller struck the ground while taxiing at Macuma, Ecuador. Everyone on board was safe.
