Received first C-130T during January 1995 while based at NAS South Weymouth. Forced to move due to base closure, the squadron made the move to NAS Brunswick, Maine and renamed the Nor'Easters. Facing base closure again, the squadron had to move on September 1, 2009 to NAS Jacksonville, Florida and fittingly reinstated the Nomads squadron name.
