USAF C-130E 63-7872 of the 61st AS from Little Rock AFB, Arkansas is guided by a crew chief on July 11, 2008, as it returns to Merced Airport, California following an airdrop mission for exercise Hydra 2008. The annual joint exercise is held at more than three locations in Northern California and demonstrates joint coordination of bare-base setup, parachutist and cargo airdrop proficiency, runway development and other critical airlift capabilities.
