USAF WC-130E #61-2366, Date unknown, Exact date undetermined, it struck some trees while taxiing at Midway Island in the South Pacific. Pilot was following taxi lights, but as this was a USN base, the taxi lights were designed for the much smaller wing span of the A-4. As the pilot and co-pilot were late for their mission, they were rushed and going over check lists as they taxied instead of scanning closer for obsticles. By the time it was noticed, the aicraft had cut down 170 feet of trees. The aircraft was repaired quickly. [USAF photo]
