Warner Robins new work load The Navy .

Warner Robins taking over all DOD C-130 heavy maintenance only makes sense. Back in the "golden days " 60's 70's & 80's there were enough planes to sustain two major contractors . The Air Force wanted to keep flying the older fleet until the
improved models came along. Those old planes suffered much during Veitnam .There was much corrosion & cracks , all of which had to be repaired .Speaking on behalf of the Contractors , I can say "we kept 'em flying ".
