F-16 vs. C-130 at Osan

Feel free to discuss anything here - as long as it is C-130 related.

Anyone have any recollection of a ground incident that happened at Osan back in circa 1989? An Osan F-16 taxiing ended up taxiing right into a empenage section (not sure if it was the horizontal, elevator or beaver tail) of a Yokota aircraft (I believe it was a Yokota assigned C-130). I know Yokota sent an MRT to fix things.

I was there when it happened. I believe the F-16 lost its brakes or something and someone wasn't paying attention. Seemed to be a combination of factors, like what is often the case. It was probably a Yokota C-130 TDY to Osan.

Do you remember the date? How did this play out in the end?

Thank you,
Jon

Pretty sure it was between Jun and Dec '90. Can't recall the specifics but I think the F-16 was the worse for wear.

Thanks...I know it occurred prior to Aug 1990 as I arrived at Yokota in Aug 1990. It was a Yokota acft and damage to teh C-130 was not too bad but significant damage to the F-16 as the vertical impacted the C-130 and the vertical is boron composite on F-16s.
