BL20/61 Inspections

Anybody have experience with this inspection on the 130? I need some insight regarding current procedures and any issues. We're working on an external x-ray method to inspect the longerons.

What is it you want to know? Right now visual inspection were added to the ISO/Letter Check Cards to remove the insulation and sound proofing material (wasn't required in the past) in order to visually inspect for signs of corrosion. Not sure if there was an inspection added to inspect the sealant seams on the BL 61 lapjoint on the exterior or not.

Mecong you are correct for the internal. Check the Dash 36 for external. If you X ray 'shoot it at an angle so as to detect a crack in the stem attach area. It may require many "shots" due to the closeness of the walkway ring segments.
