Looking through an old book from 1961 titled "The Observers book of aircraft" printed in England are the specs for a C-130B. This plane has been around forever.

LAC 3572 RCAF C-130B was sold back to Lockheed in 1967. It was used to shuttle early production parts between the Marietta Plant & the Burbank plant during the construction of C-5A 0001. It was a very clean plane , flew nicely .Made two trips per wk , I think that just about all the Lockheed pilots made at least one trip. The Canadians had taken real good care of it.
