I recently got to walk through 64-0569 here at Hill AFB and I found a piece of plexiglass up in the flight deck that was used as the cover for the Nav table. The reason for my post is this plexi has some artwork on it that might mean something to someone, and I was wondering maybe someone from the aircrew may want it! It has a picture etched in it along with the tail number and a phrase. If someone wants this plexi, e mail me at hdickler44(at symbol)gmail.com and tell me what the phrase is, and we can arrange for you to get it. Id hate to have to throw it away, if someone out there might be wondering where it went after all these years.

What is happening with 569?

I heard that Hill was going to dispose of it?

Thanks
Bob

Theres talk of putting the fuselage back together and using it as a classroom for some type of training. Not too sure when and where theyre gonna put it, but that's a rumor

I have seen this kind of thing before in the depots . It is hard to tell how long ago or how many times the plane has changed squadrons or commands since. Good luck !

After I posted my comment , I remembered that the AFTO 95 will give you all the Sqnds & assignments of the plane , but the author has probably left the service ,but the unit might want it . Check with them.
