A guy on another forum took this picture from his porch some days ago.

I took the picture. On my porch, as the object hurtled through the sky above my front lawn. It's segmented and has little wings hanging down from the back end. Nothing I've ever seen before.

I asked about the location.

Central florida. South of the Ocala National Forest Bombing Range.

Any idea about what this thing is?

Something doesn't look right about it, like its a hand-sized model or something tossed up in the air. The focus doesn't look right. What kind of lens did you use?

I asked the person.

I used a GE A835 digital camera. It shoots up to 8 Megapixels, but I had it turned down a bit.

Any ideas?

Its odd that the camera information seems to be scrubbed from the pic. Did you screen shot it then post it here second hand?

Nope, it's directly from tinypic.com

At best it would be a homemade RC X-15-like model buzzing around the neighborhood. Otherwise I think somebody was pulling some legs ;)
The Super-Viper has not yet begun to concede.

Yeah, it has some resemblance to X-15. But the X-15 seems more slim than the one in the picture.
