Thanks for the photo of your class. Which one are you? And who is the guy to your right? And to your left?

As for the T-38... no, the A-model hasn't been upgraded. No big deal. I thought you were a big afficiando of these sorts of things. No worries. And no need to "provide info" on the T-38. I'm happy to supply it. Just ask!

As to this picture that you posted... is it of you? If so, which one are you?

Apparently the picture shows a Swedish Vampire crew. Link was lost is the mists of time. Search the forum or the internet or download the BIG PDF and all will be revealed. As for the T-38 - as I have mentioned - my interest: NavAv & the F-35s.

Can you tell me more about your classmates in the bottom picture (with the guys in the middle wearing white)? Did any of them make Admiral? Which one are you? Do you recall the guys to your left and to your right?

Let's just drop the whole thing. Based on the photo, you're in your mid-70's, and I'd say that if you don't remember their names, then that's a function of it having been 50 years. There's a lot of people I can't remember after just 20 years.

Thanks for all the info you provide... thanks for the info you provided me about the F-35.

I wish you the best.

Geepers I'm pleased you think I'm a doddering old frt. Actually 71.5 years old and probably a better grasp of things than you seem to have here. At the BTM of my posts there is an URL to the FAAAA that you may find interesting but I doubt it given you appear to have lost interest now. Who is this CLIVE of which you speak? Clive of India or somesuch. I know a few CLIVES from my RANFAA daze so it is not surprising a surname is required. As for the names - a little investigation by you can easily find my name. Go to the aforementioned in this post URL or at the BTM of this message. Is that too difficult?

Cilve Mayo. The guy sitting next to you, it would appear.
It seemed odd that you were confused about "who Clive is", and my inquiries about "who is sitting next to you" still didn't cause you to figure it out. Like I said... I guess it's just been a few years too many.

Now don't be that rssmart. I got tired of you asking all the questions without you giving me any answers to my questions. Also you were not giving context and I have no sense of why you are interested in Clive Mayo. The 'clive' came out of the blue as far as I was concerned and of course I know you possibily referred to him but also as I said I know a few 'clives' in RAN FAA.

So where do we stand now? As far as I'm concerned you appear confused - unable to answer my simple questions and unable to follow my directions to go about finding information or even look at the names on the pictures provided. Who's confused?

What did you read about Clive Mayo and where did you read it so why are you interested in Clive Mayo? IF you answer or not I don't really care now. You just seem to want to DIS me for whatever reason. Get angry about Canuckian Air Farce much? They - as an entity not people - need to update their equipment toot sweet. Buying clapped out Hornets from Australia is not it. Of course the current Canadian Government are responsible for the AIR FARCE FIASCO as well as previous gutless gubmints. If money needs to be saved then STOP putting the ANCIENT TUTOR SNOWBIRDS at risk after all these years and money will be saved by them retiring.

SAD but true news from OCT 2012   Similar story for Hornet Replacement - it goes on forever but never happens.
Search Begins for Snowbirds Replacement Aircraft [tell me a story, tell me a story....]
Oct 2012 AIR International

"Canada’s Department of National Defence has started the process of identifying a replacement for the Canadair CT-114 Tutors still flown by the Snowbirds aerobatic team. A budget of up to $755 million has been allocated to the project.

The Snowbirds’ aircraft are among the last examples of the advanced[?] trainer in the Royal Canadian Air Force inventory, serving with No 431 Air Demonstration Squadron based at CFB Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The team has access to approximately 20 of the aircraft on a rotational basis. Approximately eight Tutors are also assigned to the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment at CFB Cold Lake, Alberta. The aircraft is due to be retired by 2020."
