I saw this video of an F-117 detereorating midair over a lake and there was a house nearby where the owners were having a BBQ and filmed the whole thing, it was awesome (although not for the pilot I'm sure,) the pilot ejected, the plane crashed onto the house and burned it down and the pilot pretty much landed on their backyard.
Anyone ever see this? Why is it that the Jet just sh#t the bed like that?

Yep....saw it. That would be the accident at a Maryland airshow in 1997. The USAF concluded that 4 fasteners for the left elevon hydraulic actuator were missing, reducing the elevon-to-actuator stiffness. Pilot tried to dump it in the lake but didn't have enough of the jet left to maneuver with, judging from stills I've seen.

Here's a good site that explains it in more detail. There's also links to video clips at the bottom.

That was awesome Link, thank you. I love watching videos, but I'm still to find a really good website with lots of links to fighter footage, this site should def have lots of videos, I've found the music video ones but that's it.

I saw the clip of this on a TV show once. I forgot what the show was called but it was either a "plane crashes" show or one of those xtreme xxxx shows. All I remember was the F-117 looked like it wobbled out of control (oscillation?) before it broke into pieces.
