F-15 Falls into Manhole.

Anyone have any info of F-15A 79-0052 falling into an open manhole at Bitburg AB back in the day? The picture clearly shows the nose tire so I'm doubting the manhole story.

I took this picture on the ramp at Bitburg AB around 1980 or 1981. The pilot was taxiing in when he went to tun around to wait on his wing man. When he taxied over the man hole it flipped open and his nose gear got stuck. Since he was still moving forward the gear snapped back as you can see in the picture. I'm not sure how far it went into the manhole but it was far enough to not roll back out.
