Why does "monosyllabic" have 5 syllables?

The only way I would return it is if it had damaged property of mine. however, if I just happened upon it I would have a new conversation piece for my home!

Too bad I didn't leive in the UK near there. :)

Also known as theft of US government property. Oh yes, and impeding an official investigation.

Bah- if they really wanted it, they would have attached it better in the first place.

Technically, they are littering- most UN-Green of them. :nono:

Uhm... Thanks?

Shucks, let 'em keep their air debris then- probably would take up too much space anyhow.

I do like how they used an old SAC-gainable ANG bird for the -135 pic in that article.

Shame on them- slackers and their file photos.

Actually better seeing that one though, there is a distinct plague of aviary gray out in the metal bird world now.

That one's gray too, just a different shade than the current -135s...and just about everything else in AMC.

Oh, is that the gloss gray that was in when bare metal went out?

Yep. I can't recall any post-Vietnam aircraft that had a bare metal finish.

The evolution of the KC-135 paint goes something like this. Originally they were all bare metal, then after Vietnam they started painting them all in a shiny light grey color, supposedly to disguse them on the ramp from Soviet Satelites, then in the 80's they started painting the top 1/2 of the jet a dark grey color but left the bottom painted the gloss grey. We called this the Shamoo scheme becasue it made the jet look like a whale. Then in the mid 90's they started painting them the normal AMC grey all over like you see now.
